Phones and email are currently out at Indian Hill Elementary due to a fiber outage.  The outage is currently being investigated by a Genesee Intermediate School District contractor.  The school has the ability to call out if needed.  In the event of an urgent matter you can contact our switchboard at 591-6000 and they will be able to put you in touch with the school. GIRLS BASKETBALL GAME CHANGE
The 7th & 8th grade girls basketball games vs GBWMS that were to be played at the high school on Friday, October 3rd have been changed to Monday, October 6th.  The games will be played here at EMS.  7th grade game starts at 4:15 p.m. with the 8th grade game immediately following.  
Family Astro Nite
Free Family Open House celebrating astronomy - hosted by U of M Flint and Longway Planetarium on Oct. 4 from 7 P.M. to 10 P.M. Click here for a flyer about this event.
PICTURE RETAKE DAY
Picture Retake Day has been scheduled for Wednesday, October 22nd from 1:00-3:00 p.m.  Students interested in retakes should bring packet with them to be replaced.  Any student who missed the original picture day should plan on getting their pictures taken on this day.  Picture forms are available in the main office.
Box Tops for Education
Submit your box tops by Friday, October 24 for a chance to win a gift card to the Trillium!  Each box top is worth 10 cents toward our “Box Top for Education” fundraiser.  Simply trim the box tops, making sure the expiration date is legible.  Place them in an envelope or sandwich bag clearly labeled with your student’s name.  Put them in the collection box in the Main Office to receive credit.
Breakfast available every day!
 Attention all students: We encourage all of you to eat a nutritious breakfast, which will prepare you for your school day. Research shows that students who eat breakfast improve academic achievement, score better on tests, have fewer health issues, and behave better in class.

ALL students are eligible to participate in our breakfast program - it doesn't matter if you walk, take a bus or come by car - everyone can eat breakfast at school. If you receive a free or reduced price lunch, you may receive a free or reduced price breakfast as well.There is no additional paperwork required.

Breakfast is a bargain at $1.50. Reduced price breakfast is $ 0.30. Free priced students receive a free breakfast. EAT BREAKFAST TODAY!!
